Ghost Festival: Festival Spannungen

The Chamber Music Festival “Spannungen” had to be cancelled due to the Corona pandemic. However, Lars Vogt and 15 musical friends which were invited to play at the festival in Heimbach this year, created a “Ghost festival” in cooperation with Deutschlandfunk, Deutschlandfunk Kultur and IDAGIO. From June 21-28, they will play a concert every evening without audience. These concerts will be recorded and broadcast in the next months at Deutschlandfunk.

The concert on June 25, 2020 will be broadcast live at Deutschlandfunk Kultur and the streaming platform IDAGIO will stream the concerts on June 22, 24 and 28., 2020.

Artists of this special concert will be Lars Vogt, Antje Weithaas, Barbara Buntrock, Kiveli Dörken, Florian Donderer, Isabelle Faust, Vilde Frang,  Mario Häring, Sharon Kam, Elisabeth Kufferath, Anna Reszniak, Gustav Rivinius, Alexander Schimpf, Julian Steckel, Christian Tetzlaff and Tanja Tetzlaff.

Antje Weithaas will play at the concerts on June 22 (date of broadcast at Deutschlandfunk: August 23, 9:05pm), June 23, 2020 (Date of broadcast ast Deutschlandfunk: September 7, 2020, 9:05pm), June 25, (Date of broadcast: live at Deutschlandfunk Kultur and on Noveber 29, 2020 at Deutschlandfunk, 9:05pm), June 26, 2020 (Date of broadcast at Deutschlandfunk: December 21, 2020, 9:05pm) and June 28, 2020 (Date of broadcast: January 21, 2021, 9:05pm).
