Cancelled concerts
Due to the Corona pandemic, Antje Weithaas' concerts in Cottbus on March 13 and 15, the Beethoven weekend (April 12 and 13, 2020) and the concerts on the June 5 and 7 are cancelled. More information about the situation in Cottbus can be found > here.
The city of Jena has also decided to take measures in order to protect public security. Among other things, all concerts with the Jenaer Philharmonie are cancelled in April 2020. This also includes the concert with Antje Weithaas on March 20, 2020. More information about the situation in Jena can be found > here.
Due to the current situation, also the concert “Bohemian Rhapsody” on March 29, 2020 has to be postponed. The new date for this concert is Sunday, October 18, 2020 (Theater National Bern, 6pm). More information about this concert can be found > here. The concerts with the Hallé Orchestra on April 23 and 24, 2020 are cancelled as well. The concert with the Bochumer Symphoniker at the end of June is cancelled as well. However, Antje Weithaas will play five concerts with the orchestra from June 11-13, 2020. She will play the Concerto funebre by Hartmann. Conductor will be Steven Sloane.
